Nick Woolfson joined forces with Kiss 100fm dj Steve Smart in 2002 to create Carbon. The first fruits of this collaboration was a deep progressive journey entitled 'Time Waits For No Man'. This was followed by 'In Da Mind' which was signed to Tribal Vinyl, picking up strong support from, amongst others, Paul Oakenfold and Danny Tenaglia.

Since then they have teamed up with singer Ely to produce a couple of tracks, one of which 'Shelter Me' has just spent two weeks in the UK Coolcuts and Buzz Chart and is picking up strong industry interest as well as Ministry of Sound's Spring Annual compilation.

They have also remixed the Deckslaves '47 Ronin' and produced two more underground 'bootie' tracks which are just beginning to see the light of day now with initial support from Princess Superstar and Armin Van Helden. Expect a 12" of them soon!
