A project with Nick Woolfson and Lloyd Scott. Both met through
friends back in 2000 and discovered a mutual interest in dirty
twisted tech house. Lloyd, a songwriter and guitarist was in
a band at the time called Genelab signed to Polydor.
Although they both had hectic work commitments, they perservered
in trying to find the time to sit and write together and eventually
after a couple of false starts, managed to create their first
track 'Tied Up', which has elements of electro, tuff house and
techno and includes a twisted vocal courtesy of Lloyd. They
initially pressed up and sold 300 white labels which resulted
in massive specialist radio and dj support from the likes of
Fergie, Luke Slater, Timo Mass, Tiga, Carl Cox and many others,
even being bootlegged by Jacknife Lee!
A follow up has been written and is in the pipeline for a limited
release on Tribal Vinyl entitled 'Beauty Shines'. Beauty Shines
is a dark, dirty, moody monster with Lloyd once again on vocals
and guitar.
Nick and Lloyd are currently working on their third collaboration
tentatively titled 'Pill On My Street'.
